How To Become a CHAPERONE

In the old days, societies endeavored to prevent temptations posed when male and females of good intent were left without supervision.

Chaperoning was not for singles who wanted to sin, but for those that didn't want to sin. The Lord's Prayer says, "Lead us not into temptation..." Chaperoning helps prevent singles from entering into temptation.

1) Chaperones acknowledge that God created man with sexual desire, and it is up to society to provide chaperoning as a sin-free method of courting.

2) Chaperones acknowledge that chaperoning is only effective if at least one of the singles don't want to sin.

3) Chaperones acknowledge that Christian singles must accept responsibility for their own thoughts and actions, and chaperoning is merely a physical restraint on top of an internal restraint.

4) Chaperones are the "guardian angels" of Christian courting. Chaperones commit to mentor, counsel, encourage, and chaperone singles.

5) Chaperones carry an ID Card with them so they can counsel, encourage and chaperone whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Write your name, sign and date. Clear laminate both sides and keep in your wallet or purse.

6) Chaperones use Courting Commitment Cards to help singles fulfill their highest desire...honor and purity till marriage.

Have each single sign and date this courting commitment. Keep it on file to remind them.

That's it! You can do it. God has placed you in your location to be a "guardian angel" for the singles you have influence over.
